Botanic Garden #4
Issue 4 of Botanic Garden Zine compiles a 2-hour chat between Shiyu and All Romantic Days in December 2019, with Fan Shuai and Kuang Ying talking about their two bands (the other one is Sound and Fury). Owners of BoringProductions and Letter Records write small essays -- one is about BoringProductions' three newly released records, and another is about love for Yo La Tengo. Fanmu and Dada Bar owner Michael Ohlsson also chatted a lot -- This interview finds out that this important figure in China's electronic music scene was also a pop kid.
This issue also comes with a digital download of a special edition of All Romantic Days "In Your Court", and 2 stickers from Letter Records.
Please note all the articles in this zine are written in Chinese.
* Our previous contacts are all abandoned now. If you would like to publish any articles about indiepop or get in touch with us, please send E-mail to jishiyu [a] tutanota.com. Although Botanic Garden Zine are in Chinese, we are more than happy to translate it from English. If you have a band or own a label, and want to share your tracks on our future issues, please tell us to know.
